Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress, known for roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She first began her career as an actress in the late 1980s. She became famous for the film Tezaab starring an established actor Anil Kooor. Her subsequent appearance on the screen was in Dil along with Aamir. In her early years, the Mumbai-born dancer began developing her skills at a young age. She started acting when an infant and was struggling for several years because many of her early films were flops. In the end, she was one of the most famous actresses in Indian film. Following her wedding, she took a absence from acting before returning. Recently, she played an important role as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women across India. Dixit is nominated to win 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award awarded to civilians in India is bestowed to Dixit.
