Mischa Barton was born on the 24th of January, 1986 in Hammersmith, England. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. Also, she was as a character in The Sixth Sense, a suspense movie. She was also in the suspense movie The Sixth Sensation. Her TV series The O.C. The O.C., a hit TV series in which she starred. Benjamin McKenzie was her love interest. She was played by Benjamin McKenzie who was the role of her love attraction. Barton's first appearance on TV was on the air in 1994. she played the role of a young Corvina hero in flashbacks from the soap-opera All My Children. In 1996, Barton was back on All My Children replacing Michelle Trachtenberg who played Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer was guest-starred on eight episodes of the television show Once and Again, as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) lover. She made her return to film and appeared as a character in Lost and Delirious by Susan Swan. Barton was praised for her performance as in addition to that of Piper Perabo. Comaneci has been director of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. Additionally she has continued to help a variety of charitable organizations in her native country of Romania including the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
